The
LifeStraw Go water filter is easy to carry and very comfortable to use, it allows you to filter the water directly in the bottle where it is drunk, once filled in the river, pond, etc ... directly on the way and thus saving us carrying excessive weight with bottles of drinking water in the backpack.
The
LifeStraw & reg; filter is designed to provide clean and potable water, originally it was manufactured as an emergency filter to filter water after natural disasters and thanks to its practicality its use can be multiple, such as trekking, hiking , camping or traveling.
It is capable of filtering 1000 liters of water, eliminating 99.9999% of bacteria, including E.Coli and Salmonella and 99.9% of protozoa including Giardia and Cryptosporidium and is used by filling the bottle and then directly drinking water filtered from the nozzle.
The
LifeStraw & reg; filter uses hollow fiber technology that is commonly used in industrial water treatment plants used in cities. The interior consists of a large number of very very fine hollow fibers. Each fiber has pores in its walls with a diameter of 0.2 microns or five hundred times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. When water is forced through the hollow fibers, it only passes if it is clean, therefore the access of bacteria and dirt from reaching the user is blocked. It is a purely physical method of filtration that does not contain or require any chemicals.
