Montura was born is 1987 in the mountains by people passionate about the mountains. Far away from big business projects the company was started in Rovereto, a beautiful town in Trentino with just under 30,000 inhabitants.
It’s possible that in the city this isn’t a common brand. However if we tell you that they are based near Adamelo, with the Alps as a backdrop and near Arco, one of the world’s climbing capitals where every year the major sporting event -Legends of Rock Master-. When we bear this in mind it’s easy to understand why the garments are made by and for mountaineers, climbers and skiers.
They were pioneers and are grand maestros in the manufacture of insulated mid-layers for aerobic activities such as ski touring. Their waterproof shells are also designed for movement without sacrificing protection. It is probably thanks to their size and close work with athletes that they are able to find solutions to the needs of Alpinists, climbers and skiers quickly.
