PhotoBarrabes 2007
|

"...Merely dots under the sun" by Alex Gavan, from Rumania was taken on Khan Tengri (Kazakhstan) and was chosen for the PhotoBarrabes Prize in the 2007 edition. An edition which achieved an even greater number of international participation.

FotoBarrabes 2006
|

3,333 photographs submitted by 1,259 participants from 44 different countries, the 2006 edition was a huge success regarding participation and established the Fotobarrabes contest at international level. “Ice Crossing”, a panoramic photograph by Mariusz Potocki, taken on King George Island, Antarctica, won the Fotobarrabes prize.

FotoBarrabes 2005
|

“Indian Creek” by Pedro Salaverría Calahorra was the award winning photograph in the Fotobarrabes 2005 edition. It was chosen from over 2,200 photographs submitted to the contest from 736 participants, from 33 countries. A record in participation!

FotoBarrabes 2000
|

“Aresta” by Pere Mercader Farrero was the winner of the first Fotobarrabes edition, organised by Barrabes.com. The quality of the photographs submitted was so high that, once the contest ended we asked the winners for a selection of their best photographs. The result was well worth it.
