The Escapator 40+10 is a large-capacity backpack designed for peakbaggers. A premium Alpine pack made from bluesign® certified materials with an extra bottom compartment. The Escapator offers everything for the ambitious climb or ski tour: adjustable lid height, detachable lid with inner rope holder, a padded back reinforced with aluminum stays to ensure a secure fit. The main compartment can be quickly accessed through the front zip.
Anatomic Alpine suspension system is engineered for Alpine use and longer mountaineering tours with greater loads. Alpine suspension system is designed with a lighter, anatomic back panel. This prevents the load from bulging into your back, significantly improving carrying comfort. The panel can be removed when necessary to reduce weight.
Two large mesh pads are positioned along the spine to distribute the load evenly over the entire back, while also creating a back channel for superior ventilation. A newly constructed hipbelt can be worn three ways: 1. As a traditional hipbelt. 2. With the hipwings folded away and a strap hipbelt - especially practical when you're wearing a climbing harness for example. 3. Without the hipbelt - the hipbelt can be completely detached
