1.- Price List
Due to their special tax regime, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are considered as extra-communitary territory. Therefore, all purchases made by residents in this territory are exempt of tax (customs tax and import tax not included in the price of your order and must be paid on arrival by the receiver of the goods).
All marked prices on our product list include VAT, providing the web-page is configured to a shipping country within the European Union. VAT is not included in marked prices which refer to other shipping countries. In the case of the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla, if the user has logged in, prices will also appear without VAT. This is because the application of taxes and duties varies according to the country where the purchase is to be delivered. The final price is displayed when you proceed to checkout along with details of the tax applicable to the country chosen in the delivery data.
As a general rule 18% VAT will apply to EU member countries. All businesses belonging to the EU will be exempt from tax except those based in Spain. Sales to other countries are VAT free. However, the customs authorities in each country will levy their corresponding charges.
If you select to view prices on our web site in dollars or in sterling pounds, bear in mind that they are calculated according to the daily exchange rate with respect to the Euro. These prices will therefore fluctuate accordingly.
All prices at www.barrabes.com may be revised and modified at any time.
Products on offer
All products with a special reduced price at Barrabes.com will be accompanied by the following information on the web-site: reduced price, regular price, discount percentage and end of offer date. These offers will be accessible until the date shown or until end of stock, in which case the product will automatically disappear from the web-site.

Cash On Delivery payments in Portugal (except Azores-Madeira) will only be possible if orders are over 60 €.
Goods will be paid on delivery to the transport service corresponding to the shipping country.

b) Bank transfer
Upon completing your purchase you may wish to select the bank transfer option. In this case you will receive an Email, which, together with the confirmation of your order, will indicate the account number required. It should be made payable to BARRABES SKI MONTAÑA S.L.U. in EUROS.
Please ensure that you indicate, "order number xxx" in the subject bar as well as your name and surname. The bank transfer should be carried out within a 3-day period, counting from the day the order was placed; otherwise your order will have to be cancelled.
The order will not be considered complete until the transaction has been verified by our bank. To facilitate the transaction, we recommend that you send a bank transfer receipt either by fax to (+34) 974 21 44 57 or by Email to customerservice@barrabes.com.
Remember that payments should be made in EURO and the customer will pay any currency exchange commission or bank commission if this method of payment is selected. For bank transfer payments made from countries other than Spain, it is important that any commision / fees applied by the bank of origin are paid by the customer. If this is not the case, Barrabes.com will delay dispatching the order until the entire amount is received.
c) Visa or MasterCard
We guarantee that every transaction carried out at Barrabes.com is 100% safe. Each operation, which implies the transmission of personal information or bank details, is carried out within a safe environment. Barrabes.com uses a secure server, which uses a protocol called SSL (Secure Socked Layer) to ensure the secure transfer of information via encryption.
In this way the credit card details are only known and handled by the bank, whereas the order and client details are known and handled only by the trader.
In an effort to provide greater security to credit card owners, we have now updated our web-site to include the latest security measures for on-line commerce developed by VISA and MASTERCARD. These are known as 3D Secure Code (Verified by VISA) and SPA/UCAF (Mastercard Secure Code). In this way, if you are a holder of a "Secure enabled" card, you will always be able to make a payment with a VISA or MASTERCARD on our web-site.
If your credit card cannot be enabled with this secure code, Barrabes.com will only admit payment by VISA or MASTERCARD to long-standing customers.
In both cases, when making a VISA or MASTERCARD payment, customers will be asked to supply the following information: the credit card number, the expiry date and a validation code, which refers to the last 3 digits printed on the back of the credit card. In this way we are able to guarantee even greater security for on-line transactions.
What is Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure Code?
The main objective of this protocol is to offer greater security both to the Internet user and to the commercial on-line companies, by authenticating the buyer as the legitimate holder of the card being used for payment.
In practice, if you choose to make a payment with your "secure enabled" VISA or MASTERCARD, you will be asked to provide your credit card number and expiry date as before, and also a password for exclusive use when making on-line payments. This password will identify the customer, unequivocally, as the owner of the card. In this way, no one will be able to make an on-line payment without first having knowledge of the afore-mentioned password. If a "secure enabled" card is required to make payment the logos below will appear on the page asking for credit card details.
 
If you have not yet received a PIN or password for exclusive use when making on-line payments, we advise you to contact the financial institution who issued your card and request that this service be applied so that you can benefit from secure on-line purchases. This is possible either by contacting your bank or making an on-line request.

3.- Shipping Options and Delivery
BARRABES SKI MONTAÑA S.L.U. reserves the right to change the delivery method and transport company regardless of what is stated on this page and given that the changes would not in any way be detrimental to our customers.
Important: We are unable to accept a shipment to a PO BOX address.
All orders made before 18.00h Spanish time, will be dispatched by the relevant transport company on the same day, providing they are in stock. Orders will only be dispatched on working days (Monday to Friday).
Note: Bank transfer orders will not be dispatched until the transaction has been verified. Orders to be paid in instalments will not be dispatched until the application has been approved.

Once an order has been placed, it will leave our warehouse on the same day providing it was placed before 16.00h Spanish time, regardless of the price of the purchase. Deliveries are on working days, from Mon-Fri.

4.- Guarantee
BARRABES SKI MONTAÑA S.L.U. customers will benefit from the manufacturer's guarantee.
Defects or imperfections due to the incorrect use or manipulation of goods, as well as the wear and tear produced by the normal use of a product, are not included in this guarantee.
Any decline in the function of a product, due to its design limitation, is also excluded from guarantee.

Rock climbing, mountaineering and other mountain sports, as well as vertical work using mountaineering techniques, are all intrinsically dangerous and can lead to serious, or even fatal injuries. Suitable training is essential before using such techniques. The learning of suitable techniques and safety measures are carried out under your sole responsibility. According to the Spanish Law No. 15/1999, 13th December relating to the protection of data of a personal character, we inform you that any personal data provided will be included in an automated file for data of a personal character, created and maintained under the responsibility of Barrabes Ski Montaña S.L.U.
