The
Cobra by
Beal is the classic par excellence in adventure terrain. Its light weight and soft touch are very appreciated in the great ascents, in rock and in ice falls. Technical and robust to withstand the toughest efforts. It has an excellent strength / lightness ratio combined with a low impact force and a high number of falls.
Ultra-slippery and ultra-light, it has been endowed with
Golden Dry protection approved as
UIAA Water Repellent , and the new
Thermo Fluid technology, an infrared treatment that stabilizes and reinforces the homogeneity of the fibers of the sheath, resulting in a more compact and manageable rope.
Beal's
Unicore technology has managed to unify the core and the sheath of these dynamic strings to limit the movements between the 2 parts and optimize their operation. They swell less, are more flexible, easier to handle, and last longer.
Each Beal rope also has an
Individual Identification Number which appears both on the end of the rope and on the individual Identity Card. This guarantees lifetime traceability and foolproof product tracking.
