Last weekend in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, The North Face held their annual Mountain Festival. It was attended by five hundred people from twenty one different countries. Participants were able to enjoy more than seventy different activities offered by the organization such as hiking, trail running, mountaineering, climbing and canyoning. Each activity presented different skill levels for beginner, intermediate and advanced so that no one was left out.

To help participants along the way, they were accompanied by several members of The North Face Team including: the Pou brothers, Simone Moro, Tamara Lunger, Fernanda Maciel, Jacopo Larcher, Hansjörg Auer, and Caroline Ciavaldini.

According to Jeremy De Maillard, VP Marketing & E-commerce of The North Face, “Mountain Festival 2016 has been an overwhelming success. Thanks to the amazing people that we welcomed through the event gates; from novice trail runners completing their first 10k mountain run, to experienced mountaineers pushing their limits with our athlete team. The love of the great outdoors and everyone’s desire to explore and share unique experiences amongst like minded people made the event incredible for all involved. On behalf of The North Face we want to say a big thank you to everyone who made this year’s Mountain Festival possible. Bring on Mountain Festival 2017!”
