Technical Alpinist Tech crampons in chromed steel, single point evolution of the Alpinist Pro model. Ideal for ice and mixed waterfalls, it stands out for its lightness, specificity and precision.
The front T-shaped tip guarantees excellent penetration in the most compact ice and a support in the less consistent. It is complemented by the classic secondary front toe, which offers support on hard snow and stability on worked ice, without interfering with rock climbing. Three small auxiliary vertical spikes (one on the heel and two on the front platform) guarantee maximum stability even on icy shapes and cauliflowers.
The connecting rod has a double row of holes which, together with the three-position rear lever, allows extremely precise, stable and secure tool setting. The robust anti-slip included, thanks to its design and the elastic return of the material, ensures an effective evacuation of the snow.
Constructed entirely of chrome-plated steel for the best energy absorption anywhere crampons may be under stress. Removing the connecting joints leaves little room for play and reduces much of the flex that can make crampons appear less secure on technical terrain.
It comes standard with automatic toe and heel protectors, but can be converted to semi-automatic with the semi-automatic heel protectors (ref. 2453) and semi-automatic heels (ref. 2450) sold separately.
Alpinist Tech, thanks to its incomparable lateral and axial stiffness and its asymmetric shape, becomes an integral part of footwear.
