"ARK (anti rotation kit)" Product Description

ARK system by Kong that avoids the rotation of the stretcher in the recovery phases with the winch in helicopter rescue operations. The system consists of a 4 mm diameter cable with a total length of 100 meters (the last 10 meters are of different colors), contained in a light bag with a special system to block the bag with one foot.

The cable is supplied with a self-releasing fuse to protect the operator on the ground from dangerous lifting. The anti-rotation cable connects directly to the stretcher to keep the rescuer's hands free during the recovery phases with the winch. After the stretcher reaches the helicopter cabin, the cable is automatically released from the rescuer to operate the exit system.
