In the Jackal , every detail from the upper to the sole is studied to promote foot comfort over long distances: comfortable fit and a wide last designed for use in ultra marathons, wraparound Comfort Fit elastic tongue and soft for maximum freedom of movement, sock-like construction to prevent entry of stones or mud.

The lacing system incorporates the eyelets directly into the side panels of the upper: a solution that facilitates the adaptation of the volume during the long distance run in which the foot tends to swell. Lateral Net-Mesh favors ventilation and thermal comfort. The heart of Jackal is in the innovative EVA sole / midsole set with internal shock absorbing inserts in high energy return polyurethane Infinitoo & trade; Technology.

The front element increases damping while the rear insert contributes to stability during the race. The midsole also integrates a Rock-Shield insert in high-density EVA for a more stable ride, adding the protection of the rock-guard. The sole is made of FriXion Red compound with differentiated thickness lugs Impact Brake System and longitudinal FLEX Grooves that favor the flexion of the sole in unison with the flexion line of the foot.

The toe cap is made of lightweight thermoformed anti-shock rubber that contributes to lightness and protection, while the FriXion Red bi-compound sole ensures maximum grip and durability.
