"FS Mini II" Product Description

They stand out for their lightness, which will allow us to lighten the weight in our alpine and classic climbing adventures where every gram adds up due to the large amount of material that we must use. However, they achieve high resistances, comparable to larger and heavier carabiners, which allows them to be used to directly clamp the rope while we climb being sure that they will effectively stop a possible fall.
The FS Mini II of the Metolius brand also have a wire closure, which not only saves weight without compromising resistance, but also eliminates the whip effect in a hypothetical fall preventing it from opening for tenths of a second when withstanding the sudden stress of a fall.
