This versatile hooded jacket has kept climbers, hikers, cross−country skiers and city commuters warm. Whether worn alone or as a mid layer, it performs in a variety of conditions and intensity levels.

The Atom Hoody is light, warm, breathable and with a new fitted pattern to allow mobility in any mountain sport, being highly recommended for activities that involve a lot of arm movement such as rock climbing, ice climbing, snowshoeing and cross−country skiing or in other primarily aerobic situations. It can be used as a mid layer in very cold conditions but is also a great single layer to wear during intense activity or to keep warm when winter conditions call for it. Comparatively, its insulation is comparable to that of an average fleece but with a significantly lower weight and much higher compactness.

Perfect for use as an insulating layer since its Coreloft™ Compact 60 fiber provides adequate warmth and the necessary breathability. Coreloft™ is a uniform material (it is not woven by warp and weft threads) made up of a mixture of multidenier siliconized polyester fibers of various sizes, both in length and thickness; the shorter fibers are those that allow excellent thermal comfort by allowing air to be trapped in them and the continuous fibers give consistency to the whole and allow a good recovery of the garment after being subjected to compression. In fact, the Coreloft™ has been subjected to a process to compact it by 50% without reducing its thermal capacities in the same proportion; in the case of the Atom Hoody W, the amount of padding is 60 grams per square meter of fiber. Being a hydrophobic material, it continues to keep you warm even when wet, making it an excellent material to use in humid conditions such as fog, storms or in case of excessive sweating if we have to increase our pace at a certain moment.

The outer fabric Tyono™ 20 consists of a material made up of 100% elastic Ripstop Nylon of only 20 deniers, so we are faced with a fabric as resistant and durable as it is light . It has been given a finish with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment that provides water repellency. In addition, it incorporates side panels made of elastic fleece fabric, a material composed mainly of polyester (94%) but with a good proportion of elastane (6%) to increase mobility and flexibility. breathability The result is a highly adaptable fabric that breathes and disperses moisture with a very pleasant touch.

Pre−shaped sleeves to adapt to the movement of the arms with a soft mesh interior and light fleece side panels make this jacket very comfortable. The bottoms of the jacket are laminated and are adjustable with two elastic straps and the back hem is slightly longer to allow the body to flex without exposing the lower back.

The StormHood™ hood is water−repellent and has thermal insulation to protect us from unexpected rain during activity or to add more warmth when conditions require it. This hood is also preformed for use with a helmet and is quick−adjustable by means of an elastic cord.
