Features atomic backland 95
Lightweight and highly stable, the Atomic Backland 95 all-terrain touring ski features a lower-impact design engineered to reduce CO2 emissions while skiing everywhere.
Designed to take on the entire mountain, the versatile Atomic Backland 95 is a ski that strikes the perfect balance between lightness on the climbs and great stability underfoot to confidently carve the lines that catch your eye from the piste. A reinterpretation of the original Backland, the new construction uses more poplar wood, less fiberglass and resin, and sidewalls that reduce waste to significantly reduce material-based CO2 equivalent emissions by 30% (compared to the Backland 85, 2021).
The all-terrain profile uses a ratio of natural wood and fiberglass to change the thickness curve of the ski and add torsional stiffness, to improve climbing and optimize downhill performance on harder snow surfaces. HRZN 3D features a unique beveled 3-D tip that further improves flotation in powder and handling in variable snow conditions. For the ultimate touring setup, choose a matching Atomic PreFit skin.
