The Mission 55 technical backpack is designed to meet the needs of mountaineers in ice, alpine and mixed climbing. It is made with a BD X-Rip 420D fabric with UTS coating, which makes it light and very resistant. In addition, it features a welded front panel that offers improved protection against abrasion from rock, ice, and crampon tips.

The carrying system is breathable and features padded shoulder straps, a padded and removable hipbelt, and a height-adjustable chest strap. The backpack is equipped with specific PickPockets pockets™ for ice axes, a front pocket for crampons and a strap to fix the rope under the top lid, which is also removable.
