Customized for the man, myth and legend himself, BD athlete Alex Honnold, the Onsight is our solution for climbers like Alex, whose climbing goals are not they align with climbing only during daylight hours. Honnold lives a simple life, so we incorporated Honnold-level simplicity and ruggedness into every aspect of this lamp, from the single-button architecture to its fully submersible IP67 waterproof construction. The first thing you'll notice is the Onsight's dual beam setup, which provides the two primary lighting modes climbers need most.

The main climbing mode has been optimized to illuminate holds or the trail directly in front of you with 300 lumens of wide, evenly dispersed light that doesn't glare when you're looking for the next crimper or a small foothold. The secondary route finding mode adds a powerful, narrow, long-distance beam and increases the total maximum output to 375 lumens, allowing you to detect anchors or search for trails in the distance. We've added dual PowerTap™ technology to easily switch between climbing and route finding modes by tapping both the right and left sides of the front shell.

Providing flexibility, the Onsight is Dual-Fuel compatible and can be powered by our BD 1800 rechargeable lithium-ion battery or three standard AAA batteries. The front housing is ultra-slim and has an extra built-in joint that allows you to get close to the wall and still see everything you need to see around you. With the highest waterproof rating of IP67, this light is fully submersible and dustproof, meaning it is completely sealed and won't fade if you get caught in the rain. Finally, the battery case features the iconic Honnold signature and a percentage of sales from each light goes to the Honnold Foundation, which supports solar energy for a more equitable world.
