The Blacklight 80 weighs just 1070 grams (at 172cm) with an 80mm waist, making it one of the lightest skis in its class. This model was developed for fast and ambitious touring skiers looking for a lightweight, easy-to-handle companion for technically challenging terrain, that also delivers impressive performance in all snow conditions. The name Blacklight combines the word "black" because of its color, which also represents the 100% carbon construction, and the word "light", which means that it is a very light ski with a luminescent characteristic. Of course, Blacklight is not only the name of the product, but also a promise. The ski is technically perfectly tuned, has a premium design and focuses on the essentials. Speed.

The Blacklight 80 has a top layer of 100% carbon "UD". UD is the abbreviation to describe the "uni" layout. or unidirectional of the fibers. Compared to classic carbon construction, UD carbon provides higher tensile strength and higher resilience while maintaining a lower density. The Blacklight 80 has a 100% premium paulownia wood core.
