Climbing guide to the Tarragona area

Sport climbing guide for the province of Tarragona that includes the schools of La Riba, Els Cogullons, El Penitent, Mont-Ral, La Mussara, Vilanova de Prades, Siurana, Arbolí , Montsant and Margalef. Edited in three languages (English, Spanish and Catalan) and carried out by Pete O'Donovan and the climber Dani Andrada, it presents some of the largest areas (for example , Siurana) divided into different 'subzones' to simplify the explanations on how to reach the different sectors.

Each climbing area reviewed in the guide has an introduction that gives information about the type of climbing, best time and approaches. Maps and panoramic photographs give general information on how to approach the area. For those who have GPS, they also provide the coordinates of the parking lots (WGS 84 system).

The information about the sectors - orientation, approach time, difficulty and inclination of the wall - is indicated with a pictogram. Most of the paths are drawn in photography reviews and different colored lines have been used. The routes are listed in tables that show the number (as it appears on the map), name, length in meters and difficulty (French grading). Includes information on connections and combinations of tracks and a box to mark linked tracks.
