Katadyn's BeFree Gravity 6L gravity filter system offers a practical and efficient solution for obtaining drinking water in the mountains. Its foldable and lightweight design makes it an ideal companion for camping and expeditions, where water reliability is crucial.

The heart of this system is the innovative EZ-Clean™ Membrane, which guarantees a fast flow rate of up to 2 litres per minute. The water passes through a hollow fiber filter with a pore size of 0.1 microns (0.0001 mm), effectively removing bacteria, cysts and sediments, thus ensuring safe water for consumption.

The 6-litre water bladder has a level indicator window to know when it is necessary to refill. Its practical carrying strap makes it easy to transport the full bag to the campsite, where it can be comfortably hung from a tree. The outlet hose is connected by a quick-release valve with automatic flow stop, minimizing the risk of contact with contaminated water during the filling process.

The filter capacity is up to 1000 liters, depending on the quality of the source water. To keep the EZ-Clean™ Membrane in optimal condition, simply shake it or rinse it with water, either in the field or at home. Filtered water can be stored in any hydration container, bottle, or bladder, using the included quick-connect attachments. For prolonged storage of filtered water, the use of purification tablets is recommended.
