Hoop sewn from 30 cm HMPE tape.
Ring sewn from ribbon. The seams of the ring, both at the tips and on the sides, are finished to prevent them from getting snagged when performing maneuvers in meetings, with carabiners, etc. The distinctive Fixe logo is sewn on the side of the ring to avoid friction during maneuvers and the edges of the label are rounded.
The combination of materials used in the Fosca tape significantly improves its resistance and durability. The central part of the tape, black in color, is made of HMPE (high modulus polyethylene), an extraordinarily light material with high tensile strength. Both sides of the tape have been reinforced with a polyamide profile, which is distinguished by its length indicator color, and is known for its high abrasion resistance. This careful choice of materials optimizes the performance of Fosca tape, making it extremely light and resistant to both traction and abrasion. In addition, polyamide is also used in safety seams.
Its resistance is 22 kN. It can withstand high impact loads and its exceptional abrasion resistance, superior to that of a polyamide ring, guarantees reliability in every movement. The versatility and flexible design make this element an essential piece for assembling quickdraws or making rock bridges. It is the shortest ring of the entire family.
