Add technology, Fusion® is a rope construction system patented by Fixe where slipping of the cover is prevented. The rope's performance is extended over time thanks to the firm union of the sheath and the core through a chemical component. This union also favors the optimal work of the rope during its useful life.

The Fusion system provides an extra safety factor during climbing. If the sleeve is sectioned or torn, the sleeve and core will remain attached, making it easier for the climber to maneuver to find the best solution on the wall. They are recommended for those looking for a very resistant and high-performance rope or who have to climb on very abrasive and sharp rock walls.

Incorporating Full Dry technology, these strings have a water-repellent treatment on the cover and core. This treatment provides total waterproofing of the rope. The water absorption percentage of Fixe Full Dry ropes is only between 1 and 2%, largely complying with the UIAA “Water Repellent” standard, which requires a maximum of 5%. A wet rope can absorb up to 50% of its weight in water and lose resistance as it falls, and could freeze completely.

The Full Dry treatment avoids all these consequences, and the waterproofness of these ropes makes them ideal models for ice climbing and winter mountaineering. Full Dry offers resistance to oil, grease and water, and prevents some particles from penetrating the rope, better protecting its core and extending its useful life. They are highly resistant to abrasion due to the treatment that protects them. The design of a rope with Full Dry treatment is made up of two colors.
