The Puput quickdraw is ideal for wall climbing, designed to comfortably clip the carabiner thanks to its characteristic nose. Its large size offers very comfortable maneuverability. With a wide friction zone, it extends the life of the rope and carabiner.

Its robust polyamide strap stays firm on the wall, without twisting, so the carabiner will always maintain the desired orientation. The lower carabiner is held in place thanks to the oblique seam that follows its shape. In the central part, its genuine safety seam makes it unmistakable.

The Puput is designed for intensive use in all types of wall activities.

The name Puput refers to the bird “Upupa epops” with a characteristic nose that inspired our carabiner.

Features:

• Conical nose: Its pointed, conical nose makes it easy to insert the carabiner into plates, pitons or other connecting elements in a precise and fluid manner without tripping over any curves of the carabiner.
• Snagfree: The lower part of its nose is smoothed to facilitate the maneuver of unclipping the plate and rope.
• Keylock: Its Keylock closure prevents possible snagging of the carabiner with the rope or plate.
• Size Versatile: Its proportions offer great maneuverability for all types of wall situations. With 100 mm high, 64 mm wide, and 24 mm and 26 mm opening range in its straight and curved versions respectively. Made of 7075 aluminum.
• Wide contact area: Its 10.5 mm width allows the rope to be worked over a larger radius, extending the life of both elements, rope and carabiner.
• Comfortable grip area: The polyamide strap offers an ideal width for a comfortable grip during projects and lead climbing.
• No twisting of the strap: Thanks to its 16 mm width, together with its rigidity, the strap and carabiner remain twist-free once installed on the wall, avoiding problems caused by the movement of the rope.
• No rotation of the carabiner: Its discreet rubber firmly holds the carabiner on the rope, avoiding any unwanted movement and making it easier to clip the carabiner.
• Polyamide strap: Made of 7075 aluminum.
Made from the same material as dynamic climbing ropes, polyamide. A very resistant material to extend the life of the set.
• Resistance: Complying with EN 12275, its resistances are 22 kN vertically, 8 kN horizontally and 8 kN vertically with the trigger open.
