The Ascent GTX boots are an ideal shoe for the fast mountaineer who wants a light and stable solution. One of its main strengths is the Vibram® Nepal with deep tread for traction and grip on all types of terrain. It is built with Vibram® Mont that prioritizes traction and durability, maintaining its performance at extremely low temperatures. Regarding its geometry, it has two large grip zones on the toe and heel, together with stabilizing studs on the sides and a majority of traction studs on the forefoot to allow progress both on live rock and on looser areas such as gravel, dirt or mud. . The concave-shaped braking studs on the heel and the very well-marked drainage channels complete a perfect sole to withstand a long time on hard terrain.

Waterproofing is guaranteed thanks to the Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort that has been designed to guarantee optimal thermal comfort whatever the outside weather conditions. In this way, the objective of keeping our feet dry despite the humidity of the road or the perspiration that we generate is fulfilled, since water does not penetrate inside the footwear and sweat is easily evacuated to the outside.

Another strong point of this boot is the interior midsole Frame Flex Mid made entirely of nylon. It provides the right mix of flexibility and stability throughout the foot support that is required for long activities carrying heavy loads in comfort. In the forefoot area, it is designed with an area that allows progressive flexion to perfectly accompany the movement of the foot.

The A.D.D technology consists of a series of developments and technologies that favor the ability of the foot to stabilize the body, absorb shock and boost efficiency in the tread. Asymmetrical designs at the ankles, anatomical tongue, highly advanced precise lacing up to the toecap achieve a perfect and comfortable fit to allow free and safe movement of the foot. Felt insole with antimicrobial treatments that allows air and moisture to circulate freely.
