The <strong>K4 GTX</strong> is highly durable and equipped with the most innovative thermal and component technologies in the <strong>Kayland</strong> range.</p> <p>The upper, with a new striking graphic, accompanies the high technicality of this boot. The completely renewed design with a new pattern recalls the style of other models in the range, for an unmistakable stylistic continuity with the new logo and pictogram evident on both sides. The fascia surrounding the boot and toe is made externally with <strong>Diamond Technology</strong>. This exclusive polyurethane component provides an unprecedented degree of abrasion resistance and a wider surface area for greater protection. The inner surface of the boot has also been implemented by adding rubber to ensure greater protection of the foot and shoe against the wear and tear of using crampons. Protective gaiters and waterproof Easy Zip closure.</p> <p>A <strong>Gore-Tex® lining has been added internally. Duratherm</strong>, one of the most thermally insulating liners in the Gore range. The lining is perfect for protecting the feet even in the coldest temperatures, maintaining the waterproofness and breathability of the foot and raising the level of comfort inside the shoe.</p> <p>An accentuated arch support to ensure greater braking of the shoe on the descent and for better grip on rocks. The sole<strong>Vibram® Teton</strong>has a specific design for mountaineering and ice climbing: full zones in the toe and heel provide greater grip and increase safety, while the grippy compound maintains a high level of grip in all conditions and on all surfaces.</p> <p>The polyurethane sole block also shows off the institutional colors with a two-tone design. The rear heel for crampon insertion has been fixed and glued to the midsole to guarantee a more secure and stable grip. The mounting template is made of fiberglass with aluminum foil to ensure maximum rigidity, especially when used with crampons.
