Designed for mid-altitude hiking and fast trekking, the Stinger GTX is a lightweight, flexible and versatile shoe with an athletic and contemporary design. The upper is light and resistant. It is made of mesh with seamless polyurethane panels: breathability and durability with a unique style. The lining is made of Gore-Tex Extended Comfort, a high-performance membrane renowned for providing a series of exceptional properties.

Providing breathability and waterproofing in perfect balance, it keeps your feet dry and protected, thanks to a system designed to provide maximum climatic comfort. The membrane is specifically designed for moderate to warm weather conditions and for intense physical activities. In fact, the traditional insulating layer has been left aside to ensure minimal thermal retention. This impenetrable barrier shrugs off summer downpours with ease: with the Stinger GTX your foot stays drier for longer and your skin can breathe easily.

The Stinger GTX is designed to fully adapt to your needs: its smart lacing system with integrated laces and external hooks provides a super-fast fit – once you try it, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it. The system allows you to create a comfortable fit straight out of the box and provides an easy and quick adjustment when you’re on the hills. Your custom laces stay tight even after you take off your shoes. A superior comfortable fit is guaranteed thanks to specific features: the unique ankle lock system ensures a precise and supportive closure around the ankle while facilitating its natural movement. The resulting feeling is of a perfect symbiosis between foot and shoe.

Soft padding around the ankle bone further enhances comfort and reinforces the structure without adding extra weight. The laces and tongue are asymmetrical to respect the natural shape of the foot and provide a superbly snug fit that almost feels like a glove. The sole features the exclusive Vibram® Multiverse sole, specifically designed for mixed terrain types even under heavy loads: the excellent cushioning of the midsole absorbs shock and protects the joints. The lug pattern provides high performance during technical walk-ins as it guarantees maximum grip at the heel and throughout the toe area to improve safety when climbing. The rubber toe cap further protects the foot on uneven terrain.
