The
LifeStraw Go water filter is easy to carry and very convenient to use, it allows you to filter the water directly in the bottle where you drink it, once filled in the river, pond, etc… directly on the road and thus saving us from carrying excessive weight with bottles of drinking water in the backpack.
The
LifeStraw® filter is designed to provide clean drinking water, it was originally manufactured as an emergency filter to filter water after natural disasters and thanks to its practicality its use can be multiple, such as trekking, hiking , camping or traveling.
Its membrane filter lasts up to 4'000 liters eliminating 99.9999% of bacteria, including E.Coli and Salmonella and 99.9% of protozoa including Giardia and Cryptosporidium and is used by filling the bottle and then drinking filtered water directly from the nozzle .
The
LifeStraw® filter uses a hollow fiber technology that is commonly used in industrial water treatment plants used in cities. The interior consists of a large number of very very fine hollow fibres. Each fiber has pores in its walls with a diameter of 0.2 microns or five hundred times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. When water is forced through the hollow fibers, it only passes through if it is clean, thus blocking bacteria and dirt from reaching the wearer. It is a purely physical method of filtration that does not contain or require any chemicals.
