The new Mafate Speed 4 are key shoes for technical trails that combine the strengths of the EVO Mafate and the Mafate Speed. They feature the same lines, updated with new fabrics and construction, including a breathable single-layer jacquard mesh and a dual-density PROFLY™ midsole with the lightest HOKA foam and more responsive underfoot.

How are they different? With the same DNA and 21 grams lighter, a lighter and more comfortable Mafate has been created to improve your experience on technical terrain. Why will you love them? Made for long distances, this fourth version takes everything you love about the Mafate Speed and improves it.

They are made with recycled materials in the collar, mesh and laces, thus contributing to the conservation of resources and care for the environment.

The Mafate Speed 4 is a shoe with all the materials designed to adapt comfortably to fast paces in the mountain race. Very resistant and breathable upper for quick moisture drying and sweat evacuation, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) protection layer and reinforcements on the toecap to resist the hard terrain on which you are going to run.

The profile is rocker, meta-rocker in the initial phase, so that the support in each step and the subsequent impulse is a fluid movement taking advantage of all the energy of the race. In this way, the transition between support and departure is carried out without being slowed down by the impact against the ground.

The sole is made of the renowned Vibram Megagrip compound with 5-millimeter studs for a perfect harmony between traction, durability and grip. In order not to increase the weight unnecessarily, it has been equipped with the Litebase base and thus save weight in the part of the sole that will not be in permanent contact with the ground.
