Lightweight, warm and comfortable, this HD® Fleece Insulation Jacket is a versatile all-mountain cold-weather staple.

Warm, windproof and breathable, the Andola Jacket is an ideal choice for everything from mountaineering and backcountry skiing in cold weather to hiking in winter. It makes a soft and comfortable outer layer in good weather and also acts as a very warm mid-layer when worn under a shell garment in heavy rain or snow.

The HD wool insulation is sourced from a UK wool mill in Yorkshire, just across the Pennines from Mountain Equipment's Manchester office. Wool brings many benefits to technical clothing including high levels of insulation, moisture resistance and breathability. With 100gsm fill throughout, the Andola strikes an ideal balance between warmth for frigid days on the mountain and low bulk and mobility for more technical use.

The lightweight 20 denier nylon outer fabric is windproof, highly breathable and has mechanical stretch for excellent freedom of movement. It uses a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment.

Our Mountain fit gives you room to move and layer without excess fabric and there's a protective, insulating Mountain hood that means you won't need to reach for your outer layer as soon as the wind picks up.
