RAB is an English brand specializing in high-quality European down, using the latest techniques in design, construction and materials. Thus, the bags are filled manually with European down in Derbyshire, United Kingdom, controlling the quality of these processes.
Each septum is filled with a certain amount of pen calculated based on the location, size and shape of the septum.

In the Alpine series we find light bags for high mountains but not for expedition, perfect for the Pyrenees. The Ascent series of bags offer very light bags, but with a design more geared towards trekking and hiking. The mummy cut reduces weight and adds heat capacity by reducing the internal volume that needs to be heated.

Pertex® Microlight:

Its main characteristics are: light weight, softness, resistance to feather loss, windproof, water repellent and breathable.
Being a very fine nylon microfiber fabric, but very densely spun, it prevents heat loss. In this way, very warm garments are obtained without adding extra weight. At the same time, it is a very durable and resistant fabric, and extraordinarily soft.
