From the rugged Alaskan mountain ranges to the vast expanses of the Arctic, the Batura jacket is designed for use on high-altitude expeditions or in polar environments.
The Batura is built to withstand tough conditions. Easily deflect wind, rain, sleet or snow with a robust Pertex® Shield, fully seam-sealed for complete waterproof protection and 100% recycled for a little lighter tread.
Adds 800FP European goose down insulation with Nikwax fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish, adds narrow baffles reduce weight and bulk while allowing the down to rises fully, trapping heat to keep you warm.
The features have been designed to help you operate more easily in extremely cold temperatures. The front zipper is insulated and draft-free, interior mesh pockets are big enough to stash plenty of gear or reach inside with bulky gloves, and hand pockets tuck behind insulation to dip cold fingers when the temperature plummets.
The hood can be adjusted and snug to block the wind and the rigid brim helps to improve visibility and protect the face. Whether you're launching an expedition to a high-altitude peak or exploring some of the world's harshest environments, Batura will keep you warm and dry.
