The ultra-durable Spectra® Ripstop fabric is made with fibers that are fifteen times stronger than steel gram for gram, so the backpack will withstand scratches from sharp tools, rocks and ski edges without compromising the hem weight. It is also UV resistant, essential for several days at high altitude. The fitted X-SHIELD™ back system distributes weight evenly to keep the load stable both up and down, plus a snow-repellent back panel for those days of powder snow. Every detail has been designed to make access to your kit quick and easy, with a rear zip entry allowing you to reach gear at the bottom of the main compartment without emptying the entire pack. The large roll-top provides additional storage space when you need to expand your load, while a separate avalanche safety gear compartment provides quick access at the crucial moment. Secure your gear in the boot backpack with the A-frame ski or splitboard mount, a detachable rope carrying strap, and a HeadLocker ice ax attachment. A detachable helmet mount provides added volume and easy access to the helmet. Keep smaller essentials, like snacks or sunscreen, close at hand in the hanging pocket or large hipbelt pocket.
