The 45 liter Ortles Guide has an extensive set of mountain-focused features that does exactly this.
The Dry Back Contact transport system has a padded EVA back panel and 3D channel ventilation to promote airflow and perspiration on the back. With its low-profile split shoulder straps and adjustable sternum strap, it ensures close carry and maximum freedom of movement.
For quick access to gear, in addition to the roll top, it features direct access via a YKK AquaGuard® water-repellent side zipper and a separate front compartment with a water-repellent zipper . You also have the option to further reduce your pack to reduce weight by removing the height-adjustable, removable lid, removable back panel, and hipbelt padding.
This pack comes equipped with tube guides and an exit port to house a hydration system. It features load control straps, side compression straps and a top rope strap with magnetic safety buckle designed for a more stable carry. Other attachment solutions are: pole attachment, parallel ski attachment, diagonal ski attachment (using the detachable straps included in the backpack) and front ice tool attachment.
The Ortles Guide is made from 100% REGEN ROBIC®, a high tenacity double ripstop nylon with added stretch performance. It is 60% more tear resistant than standard nylon backpack fabrics and is able to withstand rough transportation.The bottom panel is reinforced for added durability. REGEN ROBIC® is 100% recycled and demonstrates our commitment to sustainable production. The additional reflective logo helps with visibility during alpine rides and dark descents.
