The R stands for Run and this is the ultimate headlamp for runners who want to optimize every ounce. The battery can be attached to the headband with the included headlamp battery mount and weighs only 85 grams. The combined headlamp unit and battery weigh just 178 grams.

Trail Speed 5R features the new and improved headlight battery holder that holds the battery in place and improves comfort while carrying the battery on your head. Battery holder is attached to the headband; just slide the battery in.

Trail Speed 5R comes with a slim and light 2.0 Ah rechargeable battery that is slim and light. The burning time is 10 hours in minimum mode, 6 hours in medium mode and 3 hours in maximum mode. The lightweight battery is placed in the battery holder at the back of the head. There's a built-in low battery warning and standby mode, which automatically adjusts the light to a setting that ensures you get home safely with 30 minutes of guaranteed light.

This headlamp features Silva Intelligent Light, which is a unique combination of a long-range spotlight and a close-in floodlight. This light customization results in less head movement and a clear view of obstacles both near and far, giving you the balance and confidence to move faster and perform better. The ingenious Silva Flow Light feature takes light optimization even further by providing perfect adjustment of the light pattern simply by tilting the headlight.
