The Acx Power Ascender from the Skylotec brand is a new device that allows us to ascend or descend automatically and effortlessly, thanks to its electrical system powered by a 12V battery. lithium. This battery is manufactured with a very high energy density, which makes it very compact, lightweight and extremely powerful. The optimal working temperature of the batteries is 20º, although they operate between -20ºC and 40ºC.As in all rope access work, this device must be combined with a fall arrest system. The Acx device is only compatible with 11 mm ropes that comply with EN 1891 type A.
One of the most important functions is the possibility of working remotely thanks to the included wireless remote control (range of 150 m), very interesting for ascending or descending loads or in rescue work.
The Acx Power Ascender can ascend at an adjustable speed from 0 to 24 meters per minute, thanks to the bidirectional accelerator. It is water and dust resistant according to IP55.
