Made of high quality stainless steel, the CLAW steel cable gland is suitable for vertical access to higher or lower workstations in arresting systems with 8-inch stainless steel cables. 10 mm or 5/16 to 3/8 inches. It is especially characterized by its excellent rolling properties, which allow ascending and descending without fatigue. The mobile fall arrester has a very well thought-out triple safety device: the internal mechanical lock prevents it from being positioned incorrectly, the external mechanical lock only allows it to be opened with both hands. Additionally, a skull symbol warns the user if the rope is placed incorrectly. If the climber slips or falls, CLAW immediately locks and the energy absorber on the belt reduces the forces. CLAW is certified according to EN 353-1:2014+A1:2017 and ANSI Z359.16:2016, ANSI/ASSE A14.3-08, CSA Z259.2.5-17, OSHA and insures a person from 50 to 150 kg as maximum.
